1995 Nissan Pickup - Turn signal issue

On my 1995 Nissan XE Pickup, the right turn signal indicator on the
dashboard remains on. I thought it was because of a bulb that is not
working and I replaced both front and back turn signal bulbs. It doesn't
help. Now, whenever I turn on my headlights, both turn indicators on the
dash remain on, the turn signals don't work, and the right turn signal
bulb in the rear remains on while the left turn signal bulb in front stays
off. I have been replacing bulbs in affected areas, but that doesn't seem
to help. Also, when my headlights are off, the turn signals work just
fine. It is only when my lights are on that there is a problem. Is there a
fuse that may be out? Is this some sort of electrical problem? Any help
would be appreciated. Thank you.

If the light remians on why the heck you thing the bulb is bad??? You see
the light, correct? so bulb is not burned or I migh tbe crazy?

What might be bad is the relay if there any, that drives this bulb, that is
stuck in "closed" position i.e. always on and no longer opens. If not relay
then it's the electronic circuit that drives the relay. If not, then you
investigate further down the circuit from bulb towards turn-signal switch
itself, may be swutch is stuck-closed.

I agree with Mark: If the bulb lights, it's NOT bad.

I have the '95 truck (& PF) service manual. No relays. Just a dirt simple circuit
where the flasher supplies an intermittent voltage, and the turn signal switch and
hazard switch distributes it to the appropriate bulbs. All three bulbs (front, rear,
dash) on each side are in parallel, so if they behave differently, there's a wiring
problem.

Based on the orignal description of the problem, I think there's some damaged
wiring, probably in the front, that's shorted some of the headlight wiring to some of
the turn signal wiring.. Was truck in an accident? The headlight circuit is quite
independet of the turn signal circuit. Since the turn signals work OK when the
headlights are off, turn signal switch, hazard switch, flasher, and fuses are OK.

And now that I think about it, the wiring damage is probably right around the
front headlights or turn signals. Anything else would have made something else
not work.
